From inspection to insurance approval: A complete walkthrough
A roof inspection only helps the customer if the notes, photos, and measurements make it into a claim the carrier can approve. This walkthrough follows one job from the first slope photo to the supplement.
Start in the field. Open the job, walk the roof, and capture the damage before anyone moves a shingle. Skallix keeps the photos, the measurements, and the claim notes on the same job, so the office is not rebuilding the file from a text thread.
1. What the carrier needs to see
An adjuster wants the whole slope, a close photo of the damage, and a measurement that matches the photo. Name each photo for the elevation. If a test square shows bruising, say how many hits you counted and where the square sat.
2. From the visit to the approval
When the file is complete, send the packet from the job instead of assembling a new folder. If the carrier asks for more, the supplement stays on the same claim, with the new photos next to the first set. That is the path from inspection to approval.
